DESCRIPTION: An uncommon rust that produces orange aecia on the underside of the host leaves. This covering is fairly dense and easily seen when walking past the host. SPORES: Uredospores are echinulate, teliospores are 1 to 6 septate, brown and smooth. HABITAT: On the leaves of Tormentil and Creeping Cinquefoil. SEASON: Summer to early autumn. |
